Slipknot formed in Des Moines, Iowa in September of 1995. This seven-piece outfit comes from intensity, and displays all of the elements of a growing Great Plains movement of discontent. It was cool while it lasted. Subsequently to posting this, they have fired their manager, and don’t really speak to us anymore. They also signed to Roadrunner Records, and have become huge. We wish them success on the road to riches.
