The Honeyboy Turner crowd approached us about doing a CD, and at first we were apprehensive. We were pretty much into doing the big altrock thing, and didn’t think we could expand our focus. Well, they surprised us by their ability. Actually, they had a sound that was reminiscent of rock & roll in it’s earliest phases. We quickly hopped onto the Honeyboy train, and we got a wonderful release because of it. It is basically straight-up Chicago blues. The CD sold out pretty quickly, and there was a (very) limited run of cassettes that went out the door very quickly as well.
