Originally named Triphammer, but having to change for legal reasons, they chose Tucker. After playing around NYC for about three years, and recording with Steve Albini, they released a split seven-inch with fellow New Yorkers, Kung Pao. Emo-ish, with wild distorted vocals, and amazing dynamics, typical of many Midwestern emo bands, truly worth a listen. Subsequently, the band has broken up. Mark has moved to Lawrence, Kansas, and formed another emo type band called Tarantula-X. George has moved on to the Heroine Sheiks with Shannon of the Cows. Ian is now in Elvis '77.
